Dear Families,

Little Hearts connects families with young children to one another during this special season in their life. We know that navigating parenthood can be a whirlwind full of emotions, and it’s a blessing when you can share the joys and challenges with others who get it!

When my spouse and I had our first child in 2015 and entered an entirely new stage of life, we found that amidst all the joy and fun moments, we also found ourselves sometimes feeling lonely and in need of support. But, it wasn’t obvious where we could go to meet other parents with young children. Sacred Heart stepped in and began organizing opportunities for young families, and that loving commitment to young families lives on today in Little Hearts!

Little Hearts is a ministry for families with kids ~10 years old and younger (though we welcome folks of all ages!) Throughout the year we offer social events for moms and for dads, informal meet-up dates at playgrounds, and other venues for children and parents to get to know each other. We don’t want anyone to feel alone in the wild, wacky, wonderful ride of parenthood–and don’t worry; we also don’t take ourselves too seriously.

Hello & welcome to Little Hearts!

I am very eager to share in our parenthood journeys together.  I became a stay at home mom when my son was born in 2016.  I quickly realized how important finding a community of support was in this new phase of life.  The only problem was I didn’t quite know where to turn to find it.  My husband and I attended Sacred Heart and it was then that it all clicked.  We began meeting other families that were in the same stage of life through different activities and events at Sacred Heart.  We are absolutely thrilled to continue to be a part of this village of families and encourage you to join in the rollercoaster of parenting with us.
