If you’ve been to Sacred Heart, you’ve experienced the impact of Jean’s gifts on the parish family: From her beautiful cantoring at Sunday Mass, to the color and stories in the weekly bulletin she designs, to her trademark “folksy charm” while answering the phone and front door- Jean leaves her characteristic mark of warmth and fun on everything she does. And, she loves being helpful however she can to the people of the parish and fellow staff members. As a retired school teacher, she’s also the trusted editor on the office staff, which she’s been part of for 4 years.
Jean’s relationship with the Holy Spirit is what guides her faith life. She notes Kinship Ministry as one of the things that makes the Sacred Heart parish family so special, where she feels a strong sense of belonging alongside so many down-to-earth people. She and her husband Mike have been parishioners at Sacred Heart for 20 years. In her free time, Jean enjoys quilting, theater, and trivia nights with her loyal trivia team.
